What music do you listen to when you play KAG?

This album. Over and over.

 

Errr other game music? If you are nerdy like that, then i recommend about anything from the Final Fantasy Tactics OST. In particular, tracks: "Battle On the Bridge", "Bloody Excrement", and "Apoplexy" work quite well with the style of the game.

If not nerdy like that, then i recommend music from the bands "Blind Guardian", "Turisas", and "Fairyland" all fine music that fit the setting and mood of digital medevil carnage.

I listen to SomaFM. It's commerical-free internet radio and has some amazing chillout, ambient and downtempo channels.

This, or anything else from Yggdra, Blaze, Gloria Union, or any other game that has music I like.

 

Always makes me chuckle when I'm giving chase to a runner.

 

Anything violent and good that makes me want to crush the noobs from the other team. Which means all of them.

great to listen to during a long match.

 

Oh, and a great song to listen to if you want to lighten the mood if you are doing bad.

 

I used to work for a not-for-profit radio station, so I listen to a crap-ton of music even now.

That said, I throw random on my music collection and just go at it. What I try to avoid though are songs that you'd call sad or depressing when playing KAG. Why? Because I'm looking to think, and when I listen to music that has that sort of emotive content it dulls me mentally- which usually ends in running into spike pits.

I've thrown on The Mars Volta's "De-Loused in the Comatorium" and both albums out by The Protomen to good effect. De La Soul also makes surprisingly good building music.
