Creating threads in 'Help' New to the forums?

Unable to play after first install or online

    Kag downloads and installs fine. When I go to log in it says authenticating endlessly, I can play offline fine. That is the first time I play after installation.

    Next time I go to play it says:
    "Could not load autoconfig file"
    And it shuts down altogether online or offline

    I have checked firewall, deleted the version text, re-installed numerous times and re-downloaded. Just can't seem to get it to work. Any help appreciated, thanks

    Mine says that sometime, but usually it justs loads after that. No Clue :(

    autoconfig file is a local file, I don't believe it is related to your Internet connection. Is this on Windows, Mac or Linux?

    This is generally not a good thing to do, but can you do me a favor and try running the game as administrator? right click on it and 'run as administrator'

    edit:
    If you installed into c:/KAG, please check if the file C:/KAG/Base/Scripts/autoconfig.gm exists​

    Try replacing your autoconfig with a copy of mine and see if it does anything.

    No prob.

    If what you mean by endless authenticate, is that that pressing log in takes forever, either try checking to make sure your connection solid or try again later as the master server may be having issues with all the new players.
