Is there a way to record the entire battlefield? Oftentimes I find myself wondering, when the game has ended, how did red or blue win, how effective a fort that had been built was or even what drama goes on down in the tunnels. Also, what some of the exchanges are between players in the chat window as most times the battles are too chaotic to read some of the chat.

I recall a battle last week when an enemy knight was digging downwards into a tunnel that was running West to East deep underground so I sealed the roof of the West-East tunnel, blocking his eventual exit into the West-East tunnel, with stone blocks about 10 wide or so. When I was returning to the tunnel he was just standing on top the stone blockade and I flipped him off as I ran past him from the West-East tunnel.

Is there a way to record events like these so we can replay them later for entertainment? Or to observe how the tide of battle shifts back and forth between the two parties so we can improve our strategies?

There is no way to record the entire game at the moment I'm afraid, but you can record your screen with some 3rd party tool like Fraps.

If you have admin powers, go into editor mode and use it. That's the only way I know of.

Would be rather fun to see a full view over the entire map and watch a vid of a entire match unfold (speeded up or otherwise)... to see teeny pixels run back and forth raising and wrecking structures.

MM should add a replay feature :D
Post game analysis FTW, I remember a suggestion I made months ago: a heat map of the battlefield, so that you could see where are/were your teammates most of the time, so that you knew where the action is and counter with better towers, tunnel blockades and stuff... In a replay you could view both sides and territory control statistics and stuff... went a little offtopic now xD

    REPLAYS FTW!

Personally, I think that a demo system like in Soldat would be cool.

They are not actual videos, but files that you run ingame, and they let you to move around in the entire battlefield for all time.

Or maybe a spectator mode where you can zoom in and out as you please.
