If you were to place the doorclimber\bighuge's doors three-four tiles between instead of one (which is still climbable), wouldn't it simply make it more difficult for the opposing team to scale (knights would have a harder time hitting the doors)? It also tends to saves wood on non-tree maps.

@Newbie - yes, but it presents other problems. You can't carry outposts or catapults over it very well, and climbing it is slower, I think.

    Alright, I've re-done the previous Bighuge\Doorclimber's concept.
These two utilize the benefits of catapults\outposts being able to get over (although they'd have trouble if they wanted to get back in) by combining both the three-block-in-between as well as the one or two blocks in-between on the side facing your flag.

This is a quick and simple one to make, but it requires more wood, thus -- if you're on a non-tree map and you don't want to exhaust too much of your wood\team door supply, you'd probably be better off with the latter of the two.

This one takes a little longer to climb if you're carrying an outpost or catapult, but as aforementioned, takes up less wood. As-well, it'd be a bit harder for an enemy to get out of your base, if they happened to bomb-jump into it or similar.

Put the first door 4 tiles above ground, when going with op jump and grab op during jump

It's a bit less convenient, though, and could cost a person quite a bit of time if they're not quite situated or familiar with the concept.

I've also toyed around with the doorclimber's concept underground, however it seems like if the enemy were to have a sufficient Builder & Shielding Knight force it could easily be destroyed, or even with a sufficient amount of bombs. An archer could take out the enemies from the doors at top, or a trap-bridge could be built extending from the doors for a more convenient shooting area for the Archers. As-well, if the Knights were really bored enough, they could eventually make their way tunneling around it, but the builder\shield idea seems more plausible.

Perhaps the concept would be most useful on a only-tunneling map, or if a team is deciding to base their game entirely upon tunneling, as it is a bit more effective than just spamming team doors.
