It's Bugging Me!

Well, a few things which are starting to bug me,
Apart from the usual griefers and turtlers, is people using my clan tag, but it's not just that, it's the people to either mock my clan unlike a person (Probably a newbie) had my clan tag on, he thought my clan was the best in the world and wasn't being a regular douche. (I was cool and I went through the arduous task of step by step telling how to apply)
But I've had a few shockers.

Today I had [AIM] Retarded
and a few others off but I can't remember them. (Is this happening to anyone else?)

I had something else but I can't remember. I remembered, in the tutorial when it teaches you to wall slide it says the wall on the right not the left, I did, I died...

(Does anyone now how to "Spoiler" and the KAG/Forum guards, the difference and what you have to do to become one?)

 

Personally, i never liked Clans in videogames. I prefer to just pick some friends, get a microphone, and play the game together. Much better than 1337 pwnzorz clans, imo.

Anyways, i'll get on topic: basically, you don't like that other people use your Clan-tag? Why would you not like that? Atleast it looks like you have many members in that group.

 

Potential new members get a bad view of the clan, and if someone goes to jerk around with clantag on, even the whole clan could be blacklisted in some servers.

 

It's not really that they have my clan tag on (I would rather not) but this person was abusive, and was a jerk, making me and my clan look like crap, and did you click the link?

 

They're trolls, they're somewhat jealous , sad, or straight out trolly and felt like attacking your clan.
We really need a way to officialise clans, so unless you're really registered in a clan, you can't use their tag.

 

I inderstand why you would be angry about unauthorized use of your tag, yes there would be more people using it but applying for a clan means that you can control WHO uses it, because if newbies use your tag and do badly/make mistakes they can be seen as griefers and that can mean your clan loses some credibility. The best way to control that is to keep a screencap tool handy and first talk to an offender, but if he refuses to apply then cap and send it to a gaurd. Repeat faking being part of a clan should be a bannable offense if it is not already.

I'm not sure if we have an official policy on this, but cases up until now have mostly been ignored, I think. From personal experience, grass roots is pretty effective here; The less unsavory characters will stop if you make it clear to the server population that they're not real members-"Gee whiz, playername, I didn't know we were popular enough to have groupies such as yourself"-- or ask politely, and the others are probably doing something bad that we -do- ban for, anyway.

KAG guards only moderate in-game issues. Forum guards do what KAG guards do, but they've also volunteered to keep the fora community in check.
