I posted here since it mostly refers to builders, buildings, and traps. Please move this thread if its in the wrong area.

There are a few things that I have noticed in the newest build, that to me and the few I ask over chat in game, are overpowered/underpowered. I waited until now to see if it would be fixed or changed. But it seems like its to stay. Another thing of note I only play builder, I simply dont like fighting as a knight and I cant aim with the archer. And things could very well be different in premium, for I haven't bought it yet. All the point Iv listed Iv witnessed more then once and others have told me they have witnessed it as well.

    1. The builders axe/hammer.
It now seems the builders attack never gets threw no mater what, and on the rare chance it does it only does half a heart. Before the latest build I could one on one a knight that had 1.5 hearts or less and win, if I could outmaneuver him and dodge his attacks I could get in three hits and win the fight. I thought this was pretty fair and balanced, an enemy knight with full health would still win but at low health the builder could win. Now with the newest build even if the enemy has only half a heart of health I just can not win, no mater if I hold my mouse right over the other player and attack, he just does not take damage. There is no ping to indicate I hit the shield. Because of the builders new found weakness it becomes very hard to combat build as I just cant defend myself. Now I do beleive this is on the bug side becuse theres been times Iv attacked AFK players and it seems the first one to two hits do nothing before they take damage.

    2. The Knights stun
It now seems basic jabs from the knights stun builders. There are times when one knight just stabs me and I get stunned and cant move, I know its not a lunge and the enemy knight was not jumping or falling. This in my opinion is the worst thing Iv ever seen. I ws perfectly fine with a full chage lunge stunning, since half the time it knocked me across the map. But a basic jab stuning is frankly absurd as it basicly makes the builder a free kill to an enamy knight.

    3. Bombs and Spike traps
Frankly I consider the spike trap the builders main weapon, even more so now that I cant do damage with my axe. But since the newest build a single bomb can completely destroy a spike trap. Iv seen a bomb take out 10+ spikes compleatly nulifying the trap. With the time and effort the builder puts in to building the trap plus the materials needed to be wiped out by one bomb is frankly overpowered, and the bigger the trap the greater the damage the bomb does. Wiping out a whole section gives the enamy team a place to land and move around in the trap, since walking on spike does no damage. The way it was before where only one or two where wiped out was ideal as it took more then one to take out a trap, but the trap could still be taken out. I believe builders should be the only effective way of taking out traps as it gives more reason to be a combat builder.

    4. Bombs and Buildings.
It has become much more common to see knights take down walls with bombs, and I'm not talking one or two stone wall blocks think. Iv seen a group of knights disable a spike trap and then proceed to take out a tower five stone blocks thick. They had no builder, it was just four or five knights chucking bombs. I dont even think I need to elaborate with what the problem here is. The builder should be the only class effective at taking out towers and buildings.

All of these reasons have made it extremely hard to play a combat builder, as we can be taken out very quickly and there's little reason to be there other then to place ladders. Iv actually been told to only place ladders and that the knights would handle the spikes and thin walls, I promptly left that game. Knights should only be effective at melee combat, I dont even believe they should have bombs. But i know that wont change so they need to be properly balanced against archers and builders. I know this is starting to sound like I'm whining about knights being over powered, but these are serious problems that need to be addressed. Builders should not be able to take on more then one knight but should be able to get away, and if its a lone knight a good builder should be able to hold his own if the knight is damaged.

Although the reasons you have are indeed true, I don't agree with the problem.

Your first two points focus on the case of "Builder vs. Knight" in combat. As for the update that made knights no longer able to break stone with their swords, builders became a vital part of any offensive, received an extra heart, and became able to harm knights (used to do 0 dmg). Their ability to capture and disable fortifications in the blink on an eye has to mean that they should be an easy target for enemy knights and archers, and must require knight escort. They should be no match to any competent knight.
The problem with hammer hits failing to reach the knight does not concern class balance but gameplay bugs instead - as everyone knows, melee fights are rather buggy even without considering the lag.

Regarding the knight's bombs, you have to put yourself in their shoes. They stand helplessly in front of a spike pit/wall while they receive a shower of arrows. Shouldn't they be able to do some damage? But the most important thing here is that they are in that position because they are not facing enough knights/archers from the defending team. If a team fails to repel enemy attack even with a tower, a spike pit, and shorter respawns, it is completely fair that their walls and pits get blown up! And as a last point, bombs are expensive. More often than not an excess of bombs is a consequence of a weak knight resistance from the enemy team, which means easy kills and easy money.

Maybe you have played in very "minecrafter" teams. Most people, me included, entered the game admiring huge castles and deadly pits. However, it takes some time to realise that fortifications are (and should continue to be) completely useless without the knights and archers needed to use them.
