    To try and save more wood sometimes i use regular ladders on the inside. However, i know its better to change those out during the fight. That way an enemy can't climb back out of the base. I use a single ladder under the tower so an archer can hang free to fire. Right next to that ladder i set a team door to stop a builder from using the ladder that's already there. It always seems like you run out of wood too fast.:D
