Project advertising

I'm all for word of mouth advertising, but going to anoher games forum to advertise your game is extremely rude. If you go to general gaming forums not tied to any one game, that's cool.

Also, let's have the professionals handle the advertising eh? We'll just look like fanboys (which we are).

 

no it s not rude, a lot of forum have a "other games" sub forum, plus they could cross the add, one advertize for the other and on the other way. It s all win win.

 

KAG forum got his own other game sub forum...

 

I really don't see how kag is anything like DF

 

Maybe just because KAG got nothing like DF fortress or rpg?

 

Yeah that was a pretty horrible comparison

and apparently it is close to terraria, simply because of 2d from the obvious view so why not call it mario

 

2d upside tile construction is like terraria yes, that s the closest game anyway

You are talking to knightl? He may be aggressive, but in fact he is so sweet. And there still no comparison possible between kag and df.

 

DF and KAG have in common.. swords?

Advertising the game in other sites is a nice thing, but if there's no "Other games" subforum, rather just insert a link to KAG's website in your signature. Advertising another game in sections as "Discussion" and "Suggestions" is extremely rude and doesn't give a good picture about the game.
