[349] Bomb pitting

    Ahoy. As we all know, how bombs got that mass effect these days, and are raping our spike-pits like no tomorrow.
    There's a simple solution to prevent or decrease the damage taken.
    Pitting our pits !

    Here's a simple pit, what you usually see on the servers:

    Here's the bomb pitted one.

    The idea is simple, now the bomb has a higher change to fall into one of these chasms, thus decreasing it's potential as a spike pit killer.
    By the way even though the spikes are "flying", they still deal the same damage.:)

    They're not bomb proof, but have a higher percentage of deflecting them.:rollseyes:

    It just might stop the invading horde, by only sacrificing ten or more seconds in diggin' a hole.

    I saw someone using this today. I noticed that when a knight with bombs (Me. It was me.) fell into the pit, then there was a pretty good chance his items would drop down into the holes. Soooo you could also put a way down there to collect items from people who fall in.

    I think it was also crossed with that other spike technique that guarantees you'll die when you fall it. It has a lot of trapdoors and stuff but I never pay attention to exactly how it's built.

    That's a good idea. I didn't think of that really, but that could be useful, the only problem is that the under shaft will be shattered if it rains bombs.:(

    mmm.... I don't think it was like that. Had a bunch of trap doors. Totally murderized everyone. Well... it was probably based on that, and then infused with trap doors. Not sure.

    Probably.

    Although I also thought it was at least 4 blocks wide and killed people who fell in the middle of it.

    But I may have been hallucinating.
