      Hey Crab. I know you make maps, so I had an idea for one I wanted to propose. Vertical instead of horizontal WAR.

      Each team gets one base at equal level very close to each other, but there are 3 in a large center tower that blocks each team from capturing their primary bases.

        I've been thinking about a map like this, the only big issue that lies within it would be balance. It is hard to make a map based around going vertical without the team with the best start of game rushers taking all the halls and then steamrolling the other team.

        Id say instead of having a tower, have a pyramid. Its harder to defend than a tower and gets the best of both worlds of horizontal and vertical play.

      your signature is incorrect, a game needs to be balanced for all levels of play. if you ignore the ability of high end players you can have them as a brokenly powerful forces on normal players and at either extreme ignoring balance for that level can lead to a greatly unsatisfying experience

        The wording just suffers from limited space to type in.

        If I could put my full thought on it into the signature I was more thinking about how frustratingly hard the game would be for new players (and I am just using this thing as an example)

        if a core feature was based around something such as double bomb jumping and how it works currently. It is something a skilled player can do easy but even a player like me who has been here a while has a hard time doing.

        Also the statement in the signature applies much more to non-PvP games. A big mistake a dev can make while developing a game is to assume a player will be as good as he is or will know how the game works as well as he does. It is like when games have unintentional trial and error because the maker assumed you'd know that some random wall could be walked through because he knew it could.
