I just recently upgraded to premium myself.

I just learned about this game yesterday. It only took 3 rounds of online play to convince me to upgrade my account.

 

That's about 9,000 to 10,000 dollars! Congrats!
(I said 9,000-10,000 because the first 100 accounts were 9 dollars)

 

So thats like what? 10,000 Euros?

You guys don't know anything about taxes ! It's 7000$ at best, maybe less :(
And the game was cheaper before (8$) and MM gave free gift codes for contests

Anyway, great work, I hope it will continue to raise, you guys deserve it

 

I think there will be a lot more premium purchases as more and more features get added. I'm really hoping so, since I'd love to see more US gold players and hopefully a dedicated US gold server.

If I was trying to get a accurate number I would have looked that stuff up, I was just throwing out a approximation.

7k euro /2 = 3.5k euro

3.5k euro / 6 months of development = 380 euro

380 euro = average monthly salary in Poland

No, they're definitely not making a killing.

I hope the purchase rate keeps up, or even accelerates; I'm really looking forward to more content in the game, and it would be nice for the creators and team to get paid for their effort.

 

Mmmmm 1000 sales and i still have to buy one. Will do so asap. ( i hope )

 

Maybe some of you all arent that old, because thats not that much money as far as a business goes. Its expensive to run a business, even if there are only two of you. Web servers, game servers, etc all cost money :P Thats ignoring food, rent/house payment, etc.

 

Noburu is right. I don't know if Geti and MM have another job or if this is their job, but of course there are more costs than most of us know.
