A great way to use mines for cheap kills!

    Have fun. :rekt:

You can actually see the mine...

Add another layer of trap blocks on top of the trap 25252525

I suppose you could but not many players pay attention to random trap blocks above ground when in combat, not to mention, there isn't going to be a mine in it all the time. ::):

Why are you so dumb Ej? If there are mines everywhere, that area becomes a ragged hole that can be used by enemy to easily dig through your base while they are busy digging through your base, you can easily go to their undefended base (since their knights are respawning) and take their flag easily after they kill you again and again because their knights would have finished respawned after you destroyed 2 blocks. A really basic strategy Ej, get up on this level pleb.

Or you could just use a bush.

Most bushes get destroyed during war so it wont always be an option. From my own experience the trap itself is most powerful in them stalemate maps where most of the terrain is destroyed.

Not bad. Gets kind of expensive if you have to keep replacing the damaged trap blocks, though. Cheaper just to hide them in trees on a short pillar. Unlike bushes, the trees re-grow.

The mines don't damage the trap blocks, although enemy explosions will so I see your point. =]

The video doesn't really show a very effective way of doing it. Using 2 trap blocks instead of 4 and shooting arrows at the trap block is good way of hiding the mine from poking out and is more cheaper to use only costing 20 stone as you get 30 stone free from the tent! ::):

Look at Koto's guide to defensive mining, It doesn't have this exact technique, but it does have tree and bush traps that work well.
