    I like it.

    Simple, elegant, functional. Looks to be hard-wearing, plus it's design makes it hard for an enemy builder to quickly convert in his team's favour. What else can I say but: YES!

    Very good idea. So it can be simply improved and will be beginning of new fortress or defense edge. but better will be vault entrance on left side too:)

    Vault entrance both sides makes it too easy for builder to convert, that's why you use stairs on your side, it forces the builder to 'build' to make something there, instead of simply remove something to make something there. A lot of people like to make something like a 3 thick plain wall, but stairs are much better, a stone wall that's tall just needs 1 stone at the top and now it's your structure, stairs requires typically a few stone to do it (as long as you always keep to 2 tall or 3 tall stairs).

    Again this isn't always a good thing and presents problems such as enemy's able to back out and hit the top of the stairs and camp it to kill you as you come down, but they have to get over first.

    Maybe I should make a separate thread to discuss the difference between stairs and walls. Because I could totally geek out on the tactical differences between the two.
