So does the 3Ds have a friends list that works for all games?
Unlike how you had to add someone separately for each game on the DS.

Yes, it has a proper friends list, if you have a friend playing a game whilst connected to the internet, you can check out what they're playing, if they're playing say... Mario Kart 7 online, then you can even join their match straight from the friendslist both located on the 3DS Friendlist, or ingame friendlist.
It's sorta like Steam, but on 3DS.

I actually aquired myself a 3ds just this monday... been playing the shit out of some dsiware games..... I have not bought me any 3DS titles.. YET!
