This tower is designed to be the most useful as possible using small amount of resources.

Using the team door its possible to repair all of that area in the red box, it may be hard at first, if so use a ladder.
Then you can repair the rest on top and while climbing because the tower is 1 block thin.

Some people like to make it so the workshop destroys when enemy comes, which may be a good idea but I personally think it is a huge wast of resources. However this workshop placement is designed so they cannot reach it but also is not destroyable. It is also close to main archer nest and the door so allies can to the heal faster. If you wish to add more you can do what I did with my bomb workshop. (Its hard to see but there is a ladder in the background.

As you can see the door is 2 blocks higher from the vault. That is because people don't need to slide on the wall and come back down, instead they will bump their head on the top of the door and fall back down outside. Also door is only 6 blocks high therefore people don't get stunned or take damage by jumping out. Stun is a side effect.

Firstly, the archer nest just on top of the door, It can be used for attacking enemies under the tower and in front of the tower but in different sides. This was designed like this because there is not many way for you to shoot at the enemy where their archers do not have a clear line of fire at you and you don't want that, so you can reduce it by making it like this, because only 1 block or your body is exposed making it harder for them to hit you. Secondly the archer nest at the top of the tower, sometimes it is hard to hit enemies just under the tower when your on the first archer nest. So the point of this nest is to shoot at enemies under the tower.

Backwall as you can see, is formed in a web shape. It is designed so the opponent cannot collapse the tower easily and save resources at the same time. You will see that the back walls are at least 2 blocks far from the actual exposed tower body. This is to stop bombers from exploding both wall and stone with 1 bomb.

If your building isn't on bedrock like mine, you may want to put stone every second block just to make sure they wont dig under. You can also add a spike pit if necessary, Spike pit not only kill people and stops enemies but they also make it harder for them to dig under the tower. If this tower is one of the main towers of your team then you can make back wall thicker and perhaps a second wall on the other side.
