Add a new phase for heads

Each head has 3 phases - Idle, slashing/stabbing/mining, stunned/dead. I want separate phases for stunned/dead, because I think that its a bit weird that you look exactly the same as when your dead when mining. I want a more bloody look for when your dead.

 

even though this is useless I would like it and make the game look prettier.

 

When you're stunned, you look exactly the same as when your dead...
Here, take a look at this...
The red box is where the head when you're not doing anything is supposed to be.
The green box is where the head when you're mining/slashing/stabbing/shooting arrows is supposed to be.
And last, the blue box is where the head when you're stunned/dead is supposed to be.

But I want 4 boxes, one is for when your not doing anything, another is for when your doing something(mining/slashing/stabbing/shooting arrows), and yet another is for stunned, and yet another is for when your dead.

Instead of mining, I think you meant to write stunned? But yeah. I voted yes because it is somewhat odd, but you can get around it by just having your last frame as more of a 'feint' pose (if you're making a custom head). The heads packed with KAG all use it... and while, yeah, it would be nice to have a bloodied head - that's just the way it is and the style the devs chose. Soem people that post heads to the Blow mod use a bloodied frame anyways because it was simply their preference.

 

Dead game is dead...

(So that I won't get a warning: This is useless and the devs should focus on bigger problems like bugs, balancing, etc.)

other than the extra work the devs would have to do to add what amounts to 50+ sprites the actual coding aspect of this seems like it would be pretty simple.

You should feel ashamed Verzuvius, complaining about a suggestion in the suggestions topic because there are bugs.
particularly complaining that the game is dead in a forum where people who play and talk about the game.

 

This was in Classic wasn't it? Also, @Arkman the game has been sadly dying. I agree with Verzuvius in that the devs should be focusing on problems like bugs, instead of making the game prettier.

 

It is true, they should focus more on fixing bugs and so on, but when they have resolved all that stuff, they could make the game prettier.

 

I understand that the game has bugs, but really none of the bugs I have seen are going to drive people away. Furthermore torpedoing a suggestion because the dev's should be working on something else doesn't invalidate the suggestion, contribute to the argument, or really accomplish anything aside from riling up the few people who are quite enjoying this game.

This game is far from dead, I've played dead games before, people post on this forum more then once a month, moderators exist and respond. Even if I join an empty server I'll have someone join in less then half an hour.

allowing one more set of sprites on the head could be as simple as one line of code, or it might require rewriting the entire game from scratch. unless we get a hot tip from someone in charge we will never find out. Either way this topic is for making interesting suggestion and additions to the game, go to General Discussion if you want to whine about dead servers or bugs.

It's not really about doing it codewise, it's about making another frame for those tens of heads, it's really not that easy.
