An apology to Jaedong. Everyone please read!

A few days ago, I went into Jaedizzle's House and played a game with a few guys. Jaedong happened to be in there, and there was an incident where I found him digging underground. I cornered him and was about to kill him, and he used to the editor to freeze me in place and hide behind blocks. I ended up taking it a little further than it needed to go.

You all have to understand that leading up to this incident, I had played about 4 or 5 games in a few different servers... All of which were riddled with griefers, people abusing exploits, and using different hacks. I was becoming more and more irritated as time went on, and unfortunately I took Jae having a little fun with the editor a little too far. I was angry and assumed a few things considering that a few of the newer members were complaining that he was, "cheating," and I wasn't sure what was going on. I interpreted this as him being cheap and abusing his power as a server owner, and unfortunately it was wrong.

He and I have been talking, and I want to publicly apologize for making him seem like a bad guy. He's actually a very good person as he was entirely willing to apologize for what he did, and was willing to work out our dispute.

So I want to say that I'm very sorry for slandering him. I really had no intentions of trying to boycott his servers, as there are some damned good games that go on in there. He is not a bad guy, he was surprisingly very mature and patient with me as I went on an angry tangent.

So please, don't allow me being an angry guy change how you think of Jae. He's a fantastic guy and I feel really bad for making it seem like that was not so. Thanks for your time everyone!

 

Damn. That was the best apology I've ever heard.
I don't think anyone can really hold it against you. I've been similarly frustrated by people who ruin the community by griefing and such. Everyone's been through that once, and you handled it quite well with this apology.

Let us hope that the community only gets better as time goes on, and we see conflict less and less often.

Please read the thread before you reply to the newest post. I have, Jae has, so why not you?

 

I've read the thread. And the argument. I just don't think I believe in people who ask for a public apology after having someone get upset because they abused their power. Then pointed it out.

This is probably the best apology ever. I'm impressed at how mature you were able to handle it. But if Jae made you do this...

 

Accepting fault and being truly sorry is one of the most difficult things to do. Regardless if he asked you to do this or not, I commend you for your humility.

 

Techincally I asked for one for a few things he said.

I removed my former comment, because it made me look like a complete jerk. I'll apologize to the community for that much. Also all of you don't know what was PMed, I'll point out some facts before I look like a bigger jerk than I already do.
As I have mentioned already to him, He wasn't banned for calling me out or anything. I've been called out on admin abuse before. I straight up apologize for ruining the match for the other players.
What he's apologizing for is getting angry at me and posting it on the threads. In PMs he also called me some things that were necessary. I've been civil this whole time.

This is kind of making me mad aswell that tlc2011 and wolffkran you guys don't seem to know what happened yet you're assuming that i'm asking him to apologize for me abusing power. It might be how I worded my former statements so I'll apologize again for the confusion.
I don't want to start anymore fires because I've typed enough in PM's with thebonesauce to be an Essay and I don't want to have any more troubles as the issue was resolved.

 

That is the best apology to an apology ever. I honestly wish most people were this mature.

 

Truly, I was wrong. I was upset that he froze me, but I took it WAY too far. Jae deserved an apology long before he ever asked for me to make sure people understood he wasn't a bad person. Because he truly isn't. I lowered the conversation to insults and degrading his servers. Jae was wrong with freezing me in game, but he did remedy it by unfreezing me and letting me finish what I started. I took it a little too far by badmouthing him in the game and then on the forums. THAT was wrong. I really had no intentions of never joining his server again, because frankly a majority of the awesome games I've played were on his servers.

The way things look from the way things are are two different things. Jae is surprisingly a stand up guy. Regardless of my actions and my insults, he was very patient. I commend him for that as I did nothing but push his buttons the whole time.

 

Thank you so much for this bonesauce, I feel like if I were to say anything beyond what I did, I would have sounded condescending and people would hate me as I was escalating the misunderstanding to a level beyond my control, I thank you soo much for this. Also you should be able to join the server again since a few hours ago.

 

I appreciate lifting whatever it was that was keeping me from it. I thought about it today as I was doing a few things around my house, and I guess I really can't blame you for the ban or whatever it was. I was entirely out of line, ESPECIALLY for making incorrect assumptions about you and trying to damage your credibility. You're a good dude and I don't want people to think otherwise, even more so now that you actually heard me out after I was able to calm down and gave me a second shot.

 

It's ok, we all have our reasons for getting angry at things, I just happened to do the wrong things at the wrong time :p

This might be a good show for you but it was a horrible experience I do not want to go through again xD, and i'm sure the feelings mutual with thebonesauce.
