I'm sorry if this seems a little ranty, but it's incredibly annoying to me.

So i'm playing on a modded server with zombies, having a whale of a time- (That's eanmig's zombies server btw) - and there's this one guy, right?

He's new to the game of course, and decided to skip the tutorial and go right to the mod.
So i kindly asked him to leave the server, play the tutorial, and then come back so he could know what he is doing.

He just sits there. Not chatting, just running around and making the sad emoticon occasionally.
So i ask him nicely again.
    Nothing. After a few more times, he went;

    "I new player!!!11!"
    And then another sad emoticon.
And then he ran into a horde of zombies and died.

I just have this issue with people who can't bother to play the damn tutorial. I hate to say it, but on first time playing, could the tutorial be forced? I know that kind of thing belongs in suggestions though.

Forced tutorials have been a topic in the past already, and they got rejected.

Are the unobtrusive hints/tips on by default?

If you force the tutorial, people will want to do it less.

  5. With any new group you're going to get ones like that - it's just a fact of life.

If they paid for the game, they can do basically whatever they want to.

This is not a problem with Steam in general- tbh I'n finding the Steam players to be more intelligent than the presteamers. This is just a problem with one idiot lol.

New steam players just seem shy, cause they hardly ever talk

How would doing the tutorial for ctf or tth (which are pretty shit tutorials btw) help him do better on that zombie mod?

I just mean that he didn't seem to know much.

I get at least 3 people like this in every KAG game-
and whoop-de-doo, they're all steam users.

I was mad when i wrote this post, i apologize if i made any of you..annoyed? about my post.

CTF and TTH don't have their own tutorials.
Well, it appears i was wrong. Sorry about that.

I meant the class tutorial-He didn't know anything about what he was doing.

Don't tell me that you exactly know what to do when you start to play a game that you've never even touched before.

I would bet money on the fact that you, like so many players, were exactly the same once. Of course, I never was, because I've been playing KAG for the past 8 years.

Well with Steam you get all kinds of people. From little kids to hardcore gamers.

I have had the game for about a month now but I love chatting with the people in game. Always interested in learning more about the game. In fact Contrary showed me his Infinite trampoline spike trap about 2 weeks ago

Their isn't really much little kids on Steam and if they are, they usually get demolished by the community anyway ::D:.

I just have to say that at least after the steam wave came people actually started talking in chat about things other than: WTF!!!!!!1!!!1!, omg nobs, hax, and my favorite: oh my god I cant belive I fucking boyught this shit game
in the months before steam release it seemed like I was the only person who ever tried to have discussions, eventually I just gave up.
