Any plans to get more guards ?

    Right now the only one I see regulary is Paul and he can't be everywhere. I'm starting to run into many griefers and it's really annoying to know that you can't do anything against it. For some reason everyone is so passive about it in game. It's going to force me to install fraps just so I can actually play.

    Join irc.quakenet.org:6667 then join the channel #kag, once you're in there type !guard and tell the responding guard what server you are on and the griefer's name.

    You also could just use the IRC tab up there at the top to quickly join the kag IRC channel and ask for a guard then.

    Regarding the main question posed by the thread title, the plan was to phase out guards completely, however the dev team continues to assign more guards for whatever reason.

    If you're having a lot of problems and server administrators aren't on, then go onto IRC and join #kag. Use "!guard" and explain to them what your issue is. Guards are normally pretty responsive, they're just not in game a lot of the time.

    Short answer: No

    Long answer: Not really unless we happen to see someone exceptional or something that would be very trustworthy while also have a lot free time and also happens to get along with some of the people on KAG Team while benig a somewhat prominent member of the community. However it's rather unlikely to happen. Reason for this is that server owners really should have more/better admins rather than having guards deal with them. The problem with griefers is really more of an issue with server administration rather than guards themselves (E.G Bergice's server which has like 0 admins on at any time and has a large player base meaning lots of griefing). However if you do need a guard, generally there are few on IRC (as the people above said) and you can use the !guard command to call one there. Generally there are quite at least a couple of guards idling in IRC during EU and US times (Not so much during Aussie time due to lack of active guards during that time period).
