    Having played KAG for a few weeks, I've noticed that while Geti's textures go well with the 8x8 environment of King Arthur's Gold, other takes on the games sprites might also look nice. So, with that, I decided to make my own version of King Arthur's Gold textures. I've resprited many of the game's current visuals, such as the full tileset (including unused textures), rocks and treetops.

    You may notice that some of the retextures are not completely original work, but tweaked edits of Geti's fantastic originals. In addition, the tents and characters are courtesy of bilbs, whose two team retextures can be found here:


    Tell me what you think! I'd love to get some criticism and hear what you guys have to say.

    Map generation is bugged as far as I know.

    Also, I changed a few GUI elements as well, so you may wanna pick up the .zip file Vadim :D

    Thanks, everething is good now.
    A pack is very awesome, but i think it might be a little bit brighter. What do you think about this?
    Everything else is just perfect.

    No, I think that the dark and a bit blurred style looks great!
    This looks AWESOME.
    I'll comment more when I've tested it.

    Top tiles needs more contrast/brightness, especially contrast.

    You know "background tiles", yes? I think those should oppositely have a bit less contrast.

    I like using this with the "Templars vs Orcs" mod here in the forums. It makes the whole thing have a very Warhammer-esque look, like I'm back playing Warcraft 1. And I like it. :)

    Ok, now I finally got a look to it, and I now I can say the same as smiluu: The top tiles need a lot more constract, and a bit more brightness.

    It's still quite good and fun, played with it some time, but I think I'll play with the normal graphics.
