Average Gender of KAG Player?

The average age poll got a lot of love, and a surprisingly strong showing in the 18+ category. I, like many forum users, suspected that I was the old man of the group. Turns out we're the majority. Now I'm questioning the assumption that almost all of us are dudes.

If you ask me the "Both" category is pretty stupid. Who is really going to admit they are confused about their gender to a bunch of strangers? The five people who have voted this are clearly just mucking about. If anyone did actually admit it and it wasn't a joke, +1 internets to you.

 

There are probably more gals here than meet the eye. "Proclaiming" your minority gender to the whole forum would just bring unwanted attention.

I'm having a similar problem.

At first I got "Concentrate and ask again".

Then I got "Outlook not so good". How irrelevant is that?! I already KNOW Outlook isn't good, that's why I use other email clients.

There is a difference between gender and sex. Sex is a biological construct whereas gender is socially/culturally constructed. It's entirely possible to have a penis but possess "female" gender characteristics. In reality no one is purely one gender or another, and these definitions change across time and place. For those reasons I voted neither/both. My sex, however, is male.

 

Well aware of that fact since i'm doing psychology degree. Just never expected anyone to admit it :)
