    Bases are "destroyable" by digging the ground underneath it so the team can't use it (although I was able to change my class by standing above to the right of it, dunno if it is reproducable). Now we have bedrock. Bedrock is undestroyable. Now it's your turn to state the obvious :P

    Yeah, it's up to mapmaker where to put that indestructible rocks called bedrocks. It's only up to them. I think that destroyable ground under spawns isn't bad and is part of gameplay (one dominating team preventing other from changing classes is a valid tactic, imo).
    But as some of you think other wise I'd like to see some option in map generator's config file to protect spawns with bedrock underneath - single row of 4-6 bedrock blocks. It could be added to that .cfg file like this:
    Code:
    protect_spawns = 0   //0 - unprotected, 1 - protected

    You say destroying the spawn is a valid tactic... While it is, it is stupid for the other team. There should be no time when the team can't fight back until the winning team eventually wins. Removing the spawn point and making it all buggy removes most possibility of a comeback, as people end up destroying their own base by trying to press f on the tent only to find it doesn't work. Ladders get put down, but the point is these are even easier to destroy than stone and once that happens the winning team are too far winning to be stopped, which should never happen in any game until they have actually won.
