Black ops 2

Black ops will be released on November 13, 2012. (I am happy!)

• There will be Zombie mode:

• There will be 8 people per lobby
• Zombies will be included in the campaign

What's new? What are they offering that's different from every other FPS out there - freeware or not. Eh, I think I'm starting to lose my interest in FPS's.

Tip for those who want to buy Black Ops 2(and can afford to wait a while):

This applies to any game - usually if you wait a month or so after a game has been released - you can find good prices on Amazon. They definitely beat GameStop's prices - guaranteed.

Same shit for every year. Nothing new. Same designs. And a game for casual gamers and pubbers. But people will always buy that game like sheeps so...

 

Ah! Perfect! I was wondering when they'd announce the next map pack!

 

Why do people complain CoD doesn't change over time? Does anyone complain that chess has been the same year after year and people only release texture packs? My problem with Call of Duty is that it changed too much. If all this was was MW2 with different guns, maps, and tweaked perks, I would buy it on release.

I lost my faith in MW3 though, I think they've fucked up the formula too much. I might not buy this one.

 

Chess is different :D

 

Chess isn't different, its the same every time you play.
The only difference is that you don't pay 60$/Euro/Any other currency when you play.
I think people get pissed off because they change so few and still request so much money in exchange(maybe nothing for some people).
But then again change isn't always good.
And the people who enjoy might buy it for the multiplayer experience because its popular, you barely have any risk of not finding a game.
Why? The AI will keep acting the same, human players won't. (which also makes KAG fun)

 

I disagree - Chess is one of those games that changes every time you play it - depending who you play it with and how good you are. I think change is good if you want to keep your fan-base interested - if you don't you'll have a bland game(every game should bring something new to the table). AI is far from perfected IMO(and no they will not act the same - depends on the complexity of the AI) there is lots more to discover.

 

What about multiplayer

Chess is a board game - COD is an FPS and a Video Game. Multiplayer is Multiplayer :)

 

Still doesn't change the fact that it IS different, you don't see the same guys all over again unless you befriend or stalk them or w/e.
Also, every game SHOULD bring something to the table but I don't think there is much you can add to a FPS game other than more guns (which people call reskins, and which is true) and vehicles.
Sure you can try changing the atmospheres and stuff, but in the end you still stick to killing people with guns.
That is why I try not to buy FPS games, you also play trough them fast.

 

I can't wait till the game comes out, the first thing I'm going to do is multi-player, then look at the new maps on zombie mode! :)

 

Never been a fan of the games after playing a few, the spawns were like this=

Gets killed by random killstreak/camper bonus.

 

I admit they have to fix the way you spawn put it's still going to be a good game either way with zombie mode, multi-player, the campaign, combat training, etc. The campaign on Black ops was amazing I hope blacks ops 2 will be even better. I can't wait to play the maps on zombie mode because I love the ray gun and the thunder gun which I get almost ever match. More of the ray gun, barley of the thunder gun. The combat training is going to be good if I want to verse friends in a sniping match. By the way I love sniping, I want to get into FaZe or OpTic but the only thing is that I have a PS3 and OpTic has X-box 360. I'm not sure what FaZe has now, I think they moved from X-box 360 to PS3 because it better plus I have it. :P

 

btw if you pre order (Hardened or not) you get a new version of Nuketown for BO2

 

Did you see some of the games people play in Black ops 2, it was sick! There's going to be a sniper with out a scope Crazy!
