Windows Blank Screen w/ Audio on Opening

    Just bought the game off Steam and installed it, but upon opening the game it comes up with a blank screen that has the audio for what I assume to be the main menu in the background, and at the top of the blank window is the text 'King Arthur's Gold (build: 935 version: 0.97)'. Any advice would be great!
