Bombs cost more.

    This is a post suggested by @Auburn to get an idea of community support for the idea of raising the cost of bombs. The amount is not of concern now, just the point of them being more expensive.

    Bombs are quite handy, but don't do much damage compared to classic. Doors can't be broken with a single bomb etc. so I don't see why we should up the cost of bombs, considering they don't do much damage.

    Read the thread " how to stop worrying and love the bomb" for more context. It's about the lethality of them to people and how two kills can give you a full inventory of them.

    I think SOMETHING should be done with bombs. I dunno if changing the cost if the best option, but between that and keeping things as it, I'm for it.

  7. I've voted no, as I don't think the cost of bombs is the problem. The majority of players don't frequently go on kill streaks compared to the above average players who generate money rapidly as they rack up kills faster without dying. It's quite rare to go into a game where every knight knows exactly how to use bombs and is efficient with them.

    I'm not a fan of making changes to a game where I think there is not much fault. But I think the problem is knights can hold too many bombs at once, 4 bombs allows you to throw bombs one after the other, creating your shield useless to defend yourself against them. I would reduce how many bombs you could carry.. but even that has some cons to it. I'm no genius when it comes to solving problems, just trying to open ideas.

    Overall I don't really see it as a problem to be honest.

    The problem there is inventory slots. 1 bomb takes up 1 slot is fairly intuitive; I'm not sure how you'd change that exactly. Also, if a knight buys 4 bombs, he's risking losing much more when he dies. Personally, I'd mind more if knights had to spread out their bombs and always had 1 or 2 instead of dumping 4 at once.

    I could see bringing them up by 5 maybe, making the price of dumping 4 bombs an even 100 gold.

    Well the server would be marked as modded, but technically yes.

    With regards with the rest of the topic, I think that bombs should keep their current cost.
    Also this is just another one of those "nerf the knights" threads. The game is balanced as it is with all three classes.
    This thread also supposed to be in the balance section.
