So, one day while in KAG Testing IRC, we got to the topic of RTS games, and Geti brought up a game I had played ALL THE TIME as a kid...

    COMMAND & CONQUER: TIBERIAN SUN.

This game is the SHIT. Play as either GDC or NOD, and crush your enemy!

Those who've never played, here's some gameplay.

Skirmishes are a ton of fun... Where else can you build a giant tank that can tunnel and use flamethrowers to destroy infantry units?!

I really wanna play some online matches, so if any of you have this game, lemme know.

hmmm... the game looks interesting and i've played one version of C&C before, but i really dont like how you can only build units from your 'main' barracks/factory/airstrip/whatever instead of building for example 3 of those and building units simultaneously :(

Yes! I played this game when I was about 8-9, and never got further than something like the 3rd mission because I was such a wuss. I always loved the GDI, with their walker things, although I got really paranoid when I first encountered the wierd radioactive brain tumbleweed thing in the early missions, and spent hours trying to avoid it.

I'm all up for playing if I get hold of it again.

e: Oh snap, EA released it for free.

e2: Also, C&C Generals. With the Shockwave mod. Fuck yeah.

I preferred Red Alert over Tiberian Sun because it was a bit more in our timeline (but only so much). Hated Red Alert 3 though.
