    I can log-in, alright, play the "SOLO mode" perfectly, and browse multiplayer servers, but I can't join them. ::(:

    I took a screenshot of the error it creates after an eternity loading:

    I couldn't find any other thread with the same problem as me, so I decided to post here myself. Makes 2 days now, I can't join any server, always this same error message. :QQ:

    I too am having this problem. When I load up the game I am notified that this is my first time playing through Steam, which is not true.
    I've already tried to validate cache integrity, but that hasn't helped.

    I have the exact same problem as of today. (Note that I didn't have such a problem yesterday. [06.01.2014]) Uninstalled the game on Steam and reinstalled it again, didn't help. FYI: My operating system is Windows 7.
