Catapult inside a Catapult inside a Catapult inside...

So, now it is posible to get a Catapult or Outpost inside another Catapult, not sure if there is a limit to this.

I am posting this because, either it is legal and useful, or it is a feature that needs to be removed or limited...



EDIT! Oh yeah, forgot to explain the image, there is a catapult with a outpost inside another catapult :I (seems I forgot and well, it is posible, proof is here xD)

 

It was possible before.

And yes,if timed correctly catapulting outpost can be devastating.

 

This has been pointed out before in this thread, as well as many other unconventional catapult uses.

 

So, no one thinks it may need a little change :I? being able to carry too many things with one unit :C?

Cont and I have tested this before; if a cata's carrying something, you can't put it in another cata. It is a shame too.

 

That is sad to hear, I wanted to be put in a catapult that is launched by another catapult while it is in the air after being launched by a catapult and then have my catapult launched by a builder who was launched by a catapult in a catapult and then land in the enemy's base, take all their catapults and outposts and catapult them in a catapult while the aforementioned builder (who has landed safely and made it to my position) Builds a siege shop, to build the string of catapults that can catapult us back safely to our base.

 

...Holy crud, i just got the best idea.

Launching zombie corpses into zombies, therefore gibbing the zombie corpses and the zombies, thus destroying an army and any chance of revival simultaniously.

Also, weeping angel corpses. Throwing giant stone statues at people out of catapults would be really cool.

 

Hey you sure about this? I started this post because I tested this, I am pretty sure I had 3 catapults on my shoulders >_<

We have finally upgraded to the technology of griefers catapulting all our belongings outside of the walls.

 

I didn't even notice that cata because it was mashed together with the outpost Looks like lots of other dudes didn't notice either. This could lead to some fun shenanigans if we tested the waters a bit.

 

In some of the builds immediately after they added putting stuff in catas I had seen recursive catas, and there were early images of this as well, but later when Kyzak and I (and maybe Spitfire too I think) tested these we were unable to reproduce it. Maybe it's back or something?

If you manage to get a person in a cata in a cata that would be especially useful.

 

This aint nothing new...
I already did this a thousand times:
you can sit in a cat, holding the flag, then somebody else puts the cat in a cat, and fires the second cat. result:
you, flying in your private jet (cat), holding a flag.
you dont get fall damage in a cata, so you can safely land, get out, and deliver the flag!

 

Some jet you have.

 

Must I educate the peasants every time?

I'm quite sure this is still possible, but the logic for pulling it off is ruthless.

 

I meant, that its some kind of airplane, and only one at a time can ride it.
it was more of a joke than an idea, but anyway:
if you hold a cat, WHILE STEPPING into a cat, you can take the cat with you.
this can be done as many times as you want:
you could make stacks like this:

the flag, held by
player 1, in
cata 1, held by
player 2, in
cata 2, held by
player 3, in
cata 3, FIRED BY
player 4

player 3 would step out of cata 3, and fire cata 2.
then player 2 would, after landing, fire cata one,
and the player in cata one, can then deliver the flag!
this works great, and it pisses the enemies of like nothing else!
imagine the sight...

 

I think that was obvious? :p

 

I think that even NOW some noobs still dont get it.
ive seen some guys, told them what to do, and...
they shoot the flag away, WITHOUT ANYTHING ELSE!?
I guess that explains why I think it was needed, if else,
are you one of the people I mentioned?

 

So is it possible to launch all of them at the same time and reach the other side of the map?
