I'm a bit of a retro game collector; I collect pretty much anything 8/16 bit, and I'll pick up random PS2/N64/etc games I come across if the price is right. As such, I kinda have to either pay top dollar on ebay or retro gaming stores, or go deal hunting.

Flea markets, niggas. That's what this thread is about. While I was away camping this weekend, we stopped at a store called Hoke-E-Geez (yes, dumbest name ever) that is like a giant indoor flea market. People bring their wares to the staff, price them, and give the staff a cut of whatever is sold.

So I went this past weekend, and managed to pick up some cool shit. I got Pilotwings 64 (N64), Golden Axe II (GEN/MD), and Kessen II (PS2) all for $5 each. It's nice, since they're not cheap games on ebay. I also found this really nifty Wii Classic Controller, but it's not the normal one. Nice sturdy d-pad, dual analog sticks, abxy buttons along with L, R, ZL and ZR (whatever those are).

The reason I'm making this thread is because I found a little piece of Chinese ripoff electronic tat called The Revolution. Probably trying to bank on the success of the Wii back when they were calling it the Revolution, it's a digital camera, MP3/MP4 player, has 55 built in games, and I THOUGHT I could upload NES/SNES/GEN emulators and ROMs to it, but I was mistaken. It DOES have an SD card slot, so I'm gonna fucks with it and see what I can get. Video of the hilariously bad games included later.

I picked up two original Game & Watch consoles at a garage sale. One was Donkey Kong and the other, Oil Spill, both are in average condition. The lady sold them to me for a dollar each. I’m guessing she had no idea what they were. Either way I saw it as a great find. And when I got home, I cleaned them up with a bit of elbow grease, happy times.

Bumping this shizz. You mean to tell me that NOBODY collects things?!

    Two points to the bump:
    1. I have been completely unable to record any useable video from that Revolution thing. It is, in essence, like the gadget shown in this video:

    2. I am returning to the wonderful Hoke E Geez, the biggest indoor flea market/general store I've ever been to this weekend. Will be updating soon!
