Dwarfs?!

So I recently downloaded the f2p version of Dwarfs?! on Steam and have about 86 minutes logged thus far. I find myself really enjoying it but I'm curious if it's actually worth buying. Anyone have this game? Tell me some stories about the full game if you have it.

A little overview... Dwarfs is a game where you have digger dwarves. Your objective is to dig out tunnels and caverns and extend your dwarven reach. There are dark caves where many things await you, including gold, water that can flood your home, lava that can destroy walls needed to barricade it, shamans and goblins who will try their hardest to kill you, etc. You can recruit warriors at your home base or create an outpost further out. There's an Arcade mode (which I have enjoyed the most thus far) a few campaigns and challenge modes, a nifty tutorial that gets you perfectly acclimated to the game, and some other things that I guess are only available in the full game.

Now the reason I ask is because I already have a ton of stuff I enjoy in the f2p version... Is there anything about the full game that makes purchasing it worthwhile?

 

I tried it as well a while ago, having quite a bit of experience in Dwarf Fortress, I couldn't bring myself to like Dwarfs!? because it was inferior to Dwarf Fortress (which is free, might I add) in almost every way (Dwarf Fortress has a difficult-to-navigate menu system, especially for beginners, and a difficult to understand graphical interface, but that can me remedied).

I know it makes me sound like an elitist, but that's my opinion.

 

That's all fine and dandy, but I don't really have the time or the patience to sit and figure out DF. And I have tried on a few separate occasions now.

 

I completely agree with that. DF takes certain kind of dedication to learn, what I'm trying to say is that, if you have actually learned how to play DF and can do so with relative ease, then Dwafs!? just doesn't cut it.
