I joined a game with only 5 people in it, and found it very fun. The face of the game might be the massive skirmishes, but there's a certain charm to small-scale games where you can recognize all your team members and manage things more efficiently.

I enjoy 10 vs 10 with good people the most. 32+ matches are too much for me if there are any dumbasses or griefers. However, I would love to have a match with 4096 (hardcoded limit) people once in a superserver with gigantic map :p

I'm with Monsteri. A total of around 20 players is the sweet spot, IMO.

I agree, somewhere between 10-20 players is ace.

Provided there are no idiots, sometimes a single one can ruin it :(

I experienced the same. Playing for like two hours with 2-3 teammates really brings you together and let's you experience the game in a total different way. For me it feels more like playing co-op.
And btw: The new tutorial on the upcoming build will make people understand that besides the online multiplayer side of KAG there also is the possibility to much much fun with a singleplayer side. And even more: Playing, climbing, building, fighting co-op over the Internet.

This. The first thing that comes to mind was when we had minecrafters x.x.

But I definitely agree. 90% of the time 20 instead of 32+ is better.

I just like low population because it means I lag a little less ;)

I'm excited for the possibility of ~30-60 player organised clan matches though. Seeing large teams working together would be awesome, forts would take 2 minutes rather than 20 and the combat would be hectic.

Games where everyone knows what they're doing are the most fun, regardless of player numbers.
