EPIC PRAYING MANTIS FIGHT

Giblet my pet praying mantis has been moved to a large jar with leafy braches.
Just now I decided to collect some spiders for her to eat.

One of them was quite large. When Giblet spotted the spider an epic fight began.

Giblet instead of doing her usual slow stalk and insta-kill tactics, charged for hte spider who began to run down through the branches to escape.

Giblet lashed out at the spider, slicing off two of its legs.
The spider reared up to attack, but was struck again by the too-fast mantis.

Grappling ensues, giblet begins eat the spiders legs, to which the spider responds by using a free leg to grab silk and began tying up Giblets left arm (adapted leg arm thing whatever).

Giblet noticed the sneaky trick and moved the arm being tied up and caught the free leg in her "elbow" joint.

The spider attempts to bite the now close up mantis.

(I at this point was a little concerned as the spider was reasonably big and might be able to hurt Giblet)

Giblet does the ultimate finisher move:

RIPS OFF SPIDERS FANGS AND BEGINS EATING ITS FACE

KO!

 

That mantis deserves a title. An EPIC title.

Actually that little thing is still alive, it's to small for Giblet to care about, and it's walking around the bottom of the jar eating poop :D

Yeah, I go out and search around for potential meals. Her favourite is spider.

 

Damn, now I really want one. Mine would be so fat, as I live smack in the middle of nowhere and there are tons for it to eat. Mantis paradise.

Lol guys I put a big ass wasp (big black one that looked real mean) in last night, as a challenge. Wake up this morning to find a discarded abdomen and a pair of wings. Must have just eaten its tasty flight muscle and head. :D

There's a few videos of praying mantises fighting other bugs on there. I have no idea what the announcers are saying, but I can't turn down a good bug deathmatch.

 

Fuck whoever voted no. That mantis is a BEAST.
