I made an account for the website just to post this thread.

After several months of playing, 875 hours accumulated, this is the first time I'm experiencing a super low FPS which makes the game totally unplayable.

I have the Bandicam app, which shows the FPS of the game I'm playing. And sadly, it stucks at 20fps. As how did I find out, today when I opened KAG as usual, I noticed a very strong delay of my mouse movement. But once I click "Alt+Tab* to move out, the mouse movement will get back to the normal
    speed.

I'm not a tech savvy but I believe it is something related about the Nvidea Geforce Driver. Because it had update today. And this is not the first time, the Nvidea Geforce Driver being a bitch first time. After the last update of NGD, my screen will turn from normal color to heavy-blue-contrast, but this doesn't affect the FPS, so I don't really care about it. And quitting the game won't get my screen back to "normal color", I have to restart my whole laptop to get back to "normal color".

I'm not sure if this helps with the low FPS issue, but I believe it something about the Nvidea Geforce Driver. And I will provide a full specs of my laptop below. Please help me, I've been playing KAG every day since I bought the game. And I don't think I will stop playing for the foreseeable future. So I consider myself as an active player :)

Make sure nothing is taking up a lot of CPU resources, and a lot make sure nothing is taking up a lot of disk usage (updates/anti-virus auto scanning) these things slow KAG down.
Like so if you have a SSD, try placing KAG on there instead of a HDD, it does help with FPS (A lot more with modded games)

Hello big boss, I mean Vamist, I think I've found out the real problem.

It seems it is the Geforce Nvidea Driver/ Geforce Experience making my KAG lag, and maybe other games problem as well.
If I play KAG on fullscreen mode, it will trigger the Geforce Experience, as you can notice there will be a line on your top right saying, "Press Alt+Z to share your gameplay".
And If I open up without fullscreen mode, that line wont pop out, and my KAG runs smoothly like usual(30 fps).

So I believe this low-FPS-issue is not from the game itself, it is my Nvidea GeForce thing. I should make a report later, but for now, its KAG time! *hops in TC server*

If you think nvidia geforce experience is making you lag, turn off shadowplay.

If you are on windows 10 and are in windows creators update and above then turn off xbox dvr. (Game settings) It breaks/causes a lot of issues with a lot of games.

Yep it's working perfectly now once I turn off the shadowplay.
I can even play smoothly on fullscreen.

    Thanks Vamist your a hero:P
