So, I tried my hand at making a map. Whenever there's a mapmaker for a game, I cannot resist :)
Of course, this is a first map, I am still getting used to how the map size scales in the game, the overall amount about how much resources it should have and such, but constructive criticism is welcome!

I present you a CTF map: Blargsborough (Name unwittingly submitted by WanderMark)

It features a plain terrain with some trees on both sides, which also serve as spawn points. Spawn has quite a bit of stone for mining, for both sides it's near the edges. Stone is both on surface and extends into underground. Soft stone is on top. Thick stone is underground. When moving into the center of the map, the trees and grass will be replaced by ruins of a town (Blargsborough). It was a mining town, but was attacked by something, the people fled and now the town lies in ruins. It is possible to use the ruins of the houses as makeshift bunkers/outposts and they can be fashioned into more formidable defenses. Some houses also have some treasures left behind their inhabitants.

Near the center is an entrance to the mine, there is a lot of stone and gold within it's shafts, but it is easily accessible. On the left side of the mine is a large, crumbling tower. Builders will need to make it more accessible to make it defensible and not easily collapsible. On the right side is a church, which can provide nice archer spots, but the building may need reinforcing from builders. The church also has a cache of gold sealed off under it.

I wanted to make the map asymmetrical, yet attempt to make it equal to both sides.
