There have been many games in this easily recognizable franchise, from Final Fantasy the first to FF(No idea). My personal favourite however is (not surprisingly) FFX, to me nothing beats the timeless turn based battle of FFX, add in beautiful terrains and gorgeous character sprites and you have a classic that is annauled in the deepest hearts of gamers eternally, my undoubted favourite character from this game (In fact any Final Fantasy game) was Yuna, the summoner from the isle of Besaid. who embarked on a pilgrimage to rid the world of Sin, the game is perfect 10/10 and I would advise those who haven't played it to go on ebay and buy a copy.

Back on topic, The games themselves are made by the company Square, Squaresoft or Square Enix depending on the release date of the game, they all feature magic, epic plots and strange giant yellow birds known as Chocobos, please all people who love Final Fantasy as much as I do, post here, and give me your thoughts.

You know, the franchise didn't start with the tenth episode :) You should try and play some older FF. Then you'll see how dull is Yuna compared to... I don't know, Terra for instance. Or even Aerith.

:), Hate to burst your bubble, but I'm a Snes fanatic, I've played most FF games in the saga, (I missed 6 & 7 though.)
The character "Wedge" is pretty cool, he's an opening character in FF3, he also appears as a Blitzball player in FFX alongside another guy who's name escapes me.

Biggs. As in "Biggs and Wedge". As in "Biggs and Wedge that are present in FFIV, FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, FFXII, FF Dirge of Cerberus, FF Crisis Core, Chrono Trigger and Kingdom Hearts 2". As in "you really should play the sixth and seventh games" ;)

PS: Didn't mean to burst your bubble :D

It's not like I specifically look for them, but I have them in my Blitzball team, and I remember them from number 3, I'm running outta bubbles here!

It's okay, it's not like FFX is a crappy game anyway, it's still a masterpiece. But, call it nostalgia, I'll always consider the sixth to be the best Final Fantasy ever made. Maybe this has to do with the fact that it's been my very first RPG...

When you say number 3, wich episode do you refer to? The one on NES or on Snes ? Coz, as I'm sure you're aware, FFVI was released under the name of FFIII in some countries (USA among others). So after all, you might have played FFVI!

I'm not entirely sure... You started out in large robot things in a mining town... If that helps at all.

Hey on the subject of FF series, I'm playing XIII now, I got it about a week ago, and am currently up to the goddamn second Fal'cie fight, but he casts destrudo and kills my leader instantly... any tips at all (and please don't say go level up some more)

I found that on the Wikia, maybe it'll help (I haven't played FF XIII so I wouldn't know). "After Barthandelus has been staggered once, he will begin to randomly cast Destrudo. This can also happen if the party chips off enough of his HP without staggering him. Once Barthandelus begins to cast Destrudo, he will reset the chain gauge back to zero. The spell takes some time to cast (approximately 26 seconds) and the party must keep attacking until he grunts and shakes his head to switch back to using a healer. If they don't Destrudo will kill the party."

There's always some fucked up summon that you find out about after you beat the game, I swear.
