Fix Item Decay in Inventory

I'm not sure if this is a glitch or intentional, but I've noticed items dissapearing from my inventory on occasion. I suspect this has something to do with the item decay. As an archer, I've found this particularly troublesome, as I've picked up some arrows, run to the front lines and prepared to engage the enemy only to find I have no arrows! The simple solution would be to turn off item decay while in inventory if such a thing indeed exists. I'm not sure on the specifics of this, could someone enlighten me here?

 

Only certain items, like hearts, will decay while in your inventory. Arrows are not one of those things.

Your problem was likely that cause of a weird bug that occurs when you fire arrows while holding some in your hands. Each time you shoot, you expend as many arrows as you're holding in your hands.

It's a weird bug, and super annoying..

 

I've had arrows vanish from my inventory though, fairly sure of it at least.

OOOOOH, I just did a triple shot while holding 30 arrows, and it used up 90. Yeah, NOW I understand.
