What video?

Please write something about the game instead of just saying "It's fun, play it"! Why is it fun? What's it about? Nobody else will see the appeal if you don't explain it.

Toribash is a game about pulling off ridiculous martial arts maneuvers by meticulously manipulating your stick figure's key joints. The learning curve is steep, but it's great fun once you know what does what; low-tier PvP, however, is primarily just new dudes abusing cheap and simple moves, which might be discouraging until you learn/create equally simple counter-moves.Also, it's free; I believe the only paid bit is microtransaction-based character customization-most(all??) of which can be bought with game currency!--, which is super in-depth.

 

Correct. Everytime you win a match you will gain some tc, toricredits, which acts like the in-game currency. You can also participate in tournaments or enter duels with other people in order to win more.

As Kyzak said, the tc is for customization only. You can buy different colours that you can apply to your tori, the character your control, trails that follow your movment. The single most impressive thing is the textures. You can buy textures for everything, like for example the head. Then all you need to do is open up paint and make your own individual face!

This video demonstrates the capabilities of the game pretty good.


I should mention, it is all turn based, no pre-set moves.
