Fun moments on KAG

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by D'Nightingale, Jul 15, 2011.

  1. So, I was knight and was advancing mostly alone until I reached an enemy fortification with a rather big drawbridge and spike pit. I couldn't get in but an enemy jumped towards me and I managed to activate the drawbridge and sent him to his death.

Being unable to do anything else, I decided to stay there and try to use their trap against them, just to see and endless flow of knights, archers and minners just jumping one at the time towards the bridge just to see me activate it and send them to a spikey death again, again and again. I started pointing at them and using the ": P" emoticon each time at killed one. After the seventh or eight guy the allied minner I had behind me started laughing.

I think I got finally killed after I just started laughing at the constant fail of the other team.

What are you funniest moments playing KAG?

As a knight I was fighting an archer and I wasn't close enough yet. I whipped out my bomb and lunged forward, he shot me and the bomb hurdled towards him and blew him up :D

Pretty much every time a knight is in a tiny unescapable space and i'm also a knight with a bomb.

    Troooololol you can't escape!!!

However, now with the charge attack they might be able to get out! Booo for balance! x3

I laugh every time I get multiple kills from spamming arrows high into the air with no idea of where they are actually going to land.

As a knight, using alone my shield to prevent the entire enemy team from climbing a hill. Is satisfacting! Shield is cool because it can really block an entire team!

Taking out an OP by yourself while taking out 5 enemy's with it is quite rewarding also :)

I built a giant wooden comb on the verge of defeat and our main spawn became a tent in the sky. Plan B after we lost the flag was to restart the match before they capped it. We had a guy named Uncle Sam on our team and I kept on asking him for patriotic "advice" on what to do as a part of the red team. It was a game full of suicide bombers and half of my team just spamming the extremely cheesy resupply from the main base. We held out until someone else did a game restart.

Playing test build and using arrow ladders to ninja across spike pits and over spiky walls.

That was so much fun defending against you trying to climb our fort wall XD

For me? In the days when block physics were non-existent; building an archer nest in a tree canopy, and taking out and entire team, with them pretty clueless as to where I was (tree canopies make you almost invisible).

    >Destroy your base (Red) after you just saw the Blue team dash off with your flag with a large group of blue players
    >>Note: Our base is one lone door and a floating tent
    >Get kicked for griefing

    I love this game

Creating a drop point in the one place an enemy must get through to get past a certain area, dropping stones on every single enemy that tries to pass until we cap the flag.

"OP" stands for Outpost I think, illu.
As for my standout moments; firing arrows randomly into the air when leaving the spawn in one of the old versions, and getting a kill several seconds later; triple kill with a bomb; several battles that stand out in my mind (I won't bore you with the details); spawning as a builder in war-torn servers and repairing half-destroyed constructions (something strangely satisfying about that)....
The list goes on! Such a good game.

OP - stands for Original Poster/Original Post. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

EDIT: Bah, I AM wrong. In this case he meant OutPost.

I remember almost dying laughing when me and my friends started up a private server and started learning how to play. When we figured out how to build walls, someone tried to break the bottom block. He got crushed under a large pillar of rocks and it was the funniest thing. We had NO idea there were physics, but I'm so glad there is. It makes the game.
