Creating threads in 'Help' New to the forums?

getPlayerClass: Team (255/0) or class (0) out of bounds

    When attempting to start a "single player" map to edit, I get a crash to desktop.

    Last line is the subject line of this post.

    Funny though, If I rightclick/properties and add the Compatibility to Windows 7 (even though I am running Win7)

    It no longer crashes to desktop, but just spams the following :

    Sooooo, how do I change the team number then? Is there anyone else having this problem when generating a map?

    Actually I didn't want to post this but generating map wasn't working for me neither...it just crashes when I try to do it.
    Only solution to this is running dedicated server and connecting to it through your local IP.

    this issue has just been fixed. was caused by not having rules/ctf/ files/folder

    well I don't know what you mean by fixed - but I do certainly something different happening instead of crashing to desktop...


    Now it just renames me to zombie and generates gold bags in bulk.

    Well it seems that on both my server/system that neither of them have a BASE/RULES/CTF/GAMEMODE.CFG file/folder.

    How/Where is one to get such? That's probably the answer to both my problems.
