I got kicked for destroying some ladders that led into my own teams base... The guy who voted to kick me's reason was: GREFIIIFIFERRRR! or something like that... =/

You can't really combat stupidity. Unless they were carrying the flag, they probably assumed you were destroying the base. This may partially be because of how seriously you people take griefers these days.

Sani, I can't help but get mad when all 3 of my castles built on top of the spawn today were destroyed in quick succession by griefers, kick one, rebuild, another comes in. If you think this isn't a serious problem then you're just blind.

Yeah but still, just change "at the spawn" to "at the frontline" and you agree with me completely.

Tips; when removing block (to allow construction of doors / fixing stuff / etc) put a wall behind every block that u removed. Especially when you're removing lower most part of structures, they will need support, and walls help.

This instantly remove the whistleblowers suspecting you're trying to grief.

I remembered few days ago I was playing a round, there was a griefer or just retarded noob that put a wall around base practically shut the base completely without door. so I was trying to create a tunnel / doorway but I forgot that I should put walls while removing those blocks but some noobs though Im griefing and boom I was kicked xD

I hope that helps you out, before you're getting angry with people accusing you out, you should re-check what u did and figures out IF you're on their point of view, you might also thought what u did was wrong even though your intention was good, but perhaps not exactly the right way to do it.

    Peace

    I never said it wasn't a problem.

I said, however, that you people worry too much about them. There's a difference.

    I worry BECAUSE it's a serious problem.

That's like seeing your house about to fall down and not worrying about it. What kind of flawed logic is it to NOT worry about problems? Every online game has to worry about it to some extent. This game more than others because of the luxuries every teammate has on deconstructing your own buildings, you don't see it much in other games.

I got blamed for trying to save a tower from being griefed... Sadly i was too late and the guy who blamed me was named "WeWereGay" The griefer was a fake Aoki. I proved them wrong by capping the flag :P

    Let me try it like this;

I've griefed quite a bit in my day. Though, I don't do it in this game for a number of reasons. Now let me ask you, why do you think they grief? To "destroy the game?" The average griefer doesn't give a damn if they break the game or not (This changes when you get shut-ins that never leave their flickering computer monitors for more than three minutes (Bathroom break). They probably do it because they have nothing better to do). The reason they do it is for your reactions. If you show indifference, they get bored and leave.

Alternatively, if it becomes too hard to grief, they stop. The developers aren't the only ones with the power to do this. Builders trump destroyers, all you have to do is out-build them. Knights and their bombs? I'll get into that with another thread.
You also have the power to make gameplay suggestions and report bugs, after which it's in the developers' hands.

You're not powerless against them. I realize this, therefore I do not view them as a serious problem. A problem nonetheless, but not a serious one.

They leave whether you show indifference or not, after they have griefed. You seem to also forget that builders are not constantly on watch, half the time they are collecting materials to continue building. A griefer can easily fell a castle in this time, and it will keep on happening. The only way to stop them is to continually be on guard in your castles, and at that point you have basically lost the game because you're no longer playing. Do you see where i'm coming from here? I'm not stupid, regularly I try and outbuild griefers, but most of the time, i'm really not there to stop them, and they get away with it anyway by leaving. No amount of indifference or madness will change anything after the deed is done.

I also make suggestions about griefers and report bugs, because I am worried. At the very least, someone who just ignores all the problems and dismisses them as minor annoyances is not going to help solve them. No offence.
