Harmless trash talking/joking ingame

Anyone likes to do that?

And I don't mean anything offensive or agressive, just joking around and having some fun trashtalk.

In a match today I fell into a large spike trap next to their flag, I survived but couldn't get out so I stayed there and started trash talking all the blue players until one decided to come down, managed to kill me and teabag my corpse while making the ":)" emote. It really made me laugh.

I think people need to talk more on chat, I usually play to win, but it's a game after all and I just have a lot more fun if I play while making jokes or saying silly things.

Also, I like to quote relevant movies and games:

"You shall not pass!" when defending a tunnel as a knight.

"Geronimo!" when jumping into the air.

"My life for Aiur" when charging into the enemy.

"This is madness... Madness?, no, this is RED SPARTA!" when playing on the red team of course ; ).

PD: We really need a troll face emote ingame, perfect for when you push an enemy into one of their drawbridge/spike traps.

 

I like harmless trash talk.

However, I don't like personal remarks such as "I'm better than you" or "You suck". I have eyes, so there's no need to say "I'm better" I can see the scoreboard. Saying such a thing makes it obvious you're a douche.

 

Trashtalk all the way, doing it most of the time in real life :P

 

I like to roleplay as an actual knight by saying "You ratscallions, you will never defeat us!

 

If you've played with me you know that as soon as you die I rush to your corpse, slam down 2 and teabag the shit out of you.

 

When i'm behind enemy lines trying to stealthly get the enemy flag and i'm suddenly caught while approaching by an enemy, i'm always trying to convince him i'm friendly and i'm coming to spread peace within our teams. Often doesn't work...

Theres a big difference between harmless trash talking (which i enjoy) and racism (which i hate). There seem to be a lot of racist comments going on in game and i think it needs cutting down on. One of the more common ones going round is the 'N' word above. Sorry about the seriousness of this comment, i just find it disgusting people think its okay to call others that.

 

It's just archont the "ironic" white supremacist troll trying to get the attention he doesn't get in real life.

From time to time, I take a bomb in my hand, say 'Allah Akbar!' and jump into a platoon of enemy troops.

 

And perfect for griefers who bring down your carefully planned base. ;)

 

I was actually able to trap a builder down deep in a tunnel in a corner with my shield, and tell him "YOUR GOLD OR YOUR LIFE!" and he gave me 20 gold.

Racism isnt allowed and will be punished, it's like his 5th time he posts such a racism bullshit, and ingame, i have to warn him like always i meet him...about his god damne racism trash talk.

Also, Archont, if you want to be racist on the web, go to /b/. Everybody hates political correctness there, and almost everybody is any combination of misogynist, racist, and extremely right-wing.
