Hide forum/auto mark read

I think (if it isn't possible already) there should be some way to hide forums from the main page or auto mark them as read. I never ever read the foreign languages section and the only time I read clan chat is for my own clan thread which I get alerts for anyway, so I don't need to see these on the main page. Failing that I don't want to see new posts in any of these sections because I never visit them anyway. Clan chat is a spam fest so whenever I refresh the forums there's a new post. It's annoying.
