Higher Kick Threshold

Players are now abusing the kick system to report 'griefers' and get them banned. All it takes is two or three other players who instinctively hit F12 when they read "griefing base". It doesn't matter if you're attacking the enemy when the vote is called, or if you just got done telling everyone there's a griefer blocking off your attack tunnels. Jackasses like Goodie will call a kick vote on you.

 

I agree a few more votes should be added. We had a 24is player game going the other day and it only took two or three votes to kick someone.

I do NOT want the threshold to get too high - in other games it is so difficult to kick people that the greifers just get away with it anyway because the majority of folks don't vote - but there still needs to be improvement here - even if adding more votes is not the final solution.

Server admins can edit that value.
BTW 33% on a team is not so low...

 

Same just happend to me, that fucktard Goodie blocked me while i was minning and then started vote to kick me with message "griefing main base".

I suggest I think nice way to solve it.
For example if kick vote starts just show that player in little screen near mini map and what hes doing right now or better show what he was doing like 10 seconds ago to the point in time the vote called.

I think it's better for a few innocents to get kicked than for griefers to go unkicked. So I think kicking should err on the side of "harsh and merciless."

 

The thing is that it's not a "few" innocents. Last night an entire server got emptied out because of one player.
