I was reading an article on Cracked called 6 Reasons The Guy Who's Fixing Your Computer Hates You (If you want to read it, click here). I was wondering if any of you guys have had any horror stories when you have either fixed someone else's computer or even just used someone else's computer.

For me, I had to borrow someone's computer because my laptop was in for repairs (I accidentally dropped my laptop and the screen cracked). Anyways, his computer had all of his files in a single folder without any sub-folders. Pictures, videos, documents, games and other programs all in the My Documents folder. Over 500 items in that single folder. His reasoning was that everything was only 1 click away.

At school one computer had an unresponsive keyboard. 15 technicians tried to fix it then it turned out that the person who used it before had activated sticky keys. Then they still couldn't fix it and I ended up having to fix it myself. When they came back and found I had fixed it they were not happy... :3

I once got a bad virus on my computer, but, it blocked my antivirus, and it restarted my computer when I tried to safe mode reset, then it overheated itself and all the drive melted, I to this day haven't a clue how a virus that power was even made.
(this next part is not true)
Then at two in the morning, the computer turned on, its drives totally infected by the virus, it slowly crept into my room, holding a sharpened floppy disk... and I was never seen again.
