    Hey there, welcome to the forums. :)

    My advice is two-fold:
    1. Check out the archer class subforum (particularly this thread);
    2. Practice. Lots and lots of practice. Read up on skills, maneuvers, etc - and then go practice them until you've got it down pat! Seriously, there is no substitute for practice.

    Or both :) But for questions like "how do I <do this basic thing>" the answer is to use the in game tutorial or read the wiki :)
