How to configure map generator?

    I would like to see an easy explanation, how to customize map generators .cfg files. I know that the basic description is included inside files itself and in libnoise tutorial, but couldn't be somehow explained easier?

    For example here:
    Code:
    gold_noise_frequency = 246.0 
    gold_noise_lacunarity = 0.0              
    gold_noise_octaves = 3 
    gold_noise_persistence = 0.0 
    gold_turbulence_power = 5.1 
    gold_turbulence_roughness = 1.0 
    gold_turbulence_frequency = 1.3
    How modyfing those variables will influent individual map features?

    The closest thing you'll get is inside the libnoise tutorial, if that's a bit too much for you, you're better off just experimenting with them, it can be a bit to take in at first indeed.

    I don't think there are many people with the knowledge of those but maybe you'll get lucky and Incarnum is lurking, who knows.
