How to create a server correctly?

What I need make to my server appear in the server browser?
Ip is 127.0.0.1:50213, but my friends can not connect. Please help me. X3

Make sure your ports are correctly opened first.

 

Like AsuMagic said, make sure you have open your ports first. Elsewise, no one will be able to join/see your server.

 

Note : To open ports, for example, goto http://livebox/ on Orange ( French operator ) and login into configuration. Then, open UDP and *shitforgotthename* ports : 50213

 

the setup for port forwarding is different on everyone's network depending on their router.

If you want to port forward, this is a good place to start: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

Look for your router name and follow the instruction on port forwarding.

Ive had this same problem. I have used a tool to start a server, but it does not show in the servers list on KAG. Ill try the internet IP and port forwarding, but KAG doesn't show up in my modems page, so Im gonna go to the default guide. Thanks for making this thread, saved me the hassle.
