How to host/create a dedicated server for kag

Greetings,i am doing this cause a friend wants to know how to host a server, so i am dedicating this post to my friend, ok lets start by steps.

1-The first thing you need to do, its set a specific ip to your modem, for do this you need to: Right click to network notification>start network and sharing center>change network adapter settings>double click to the network you are using>properties> double click to protocol of internet version 4 (tcp/ipv4)>select "use the following ip">in ip direction put: 192.168.1.*ip you want*>in subnet: 255.255.255.0>default gateway: 192.168.1.1>use the following dns directions>you can use these public dns of google:8.8.8.8 in prefereddns server and 8.8.4.4 in alternative dns server>validate settings on exit and accept.

2-Then, you need to open a specific port on your moden and firewall using the specific ip you put in your modem (if you dont know how to open ports in your modem and firewall, you can search search a tutorial for both), the ports you need to open its: 50301/tcp.

3-When the ports are opened, you need to go to the KAG folder, there you will open autoconfig.cgf (i recommend opening it with notepad for make it more orderly), in this file you will find all the settings for the server, here you need to put the ip that you specified in: sv_ip. If you want you can change all the settings of your server (max players, gamemode, mapcycle, etc.), when you finished save it and close the autoconfig.

4-Finally when you do all this, just open "dedicatedserver.bat" and wait for the people join.
