    That's not very helpful, Synthesis!

    You can upload images and the like-practically any filetype, really-- directly to the fora with the "upload a file" button, but that's a waste of precious bandwidth. I recommend you upload the image to a hosting site like imgur, then take the direct link and plop it between image tags (or just hit the insert/edit image button).

    I use tinypic. Very reliable, and isn't blocked by most image blockers.
    It is also linkable to a PhotoBucket account.
