Hello! Im fairly new to the game (TB) and im in love with it so far. The only problem is that i am now banned from 80% of the servers on my list, i use AT&T (its what i can afford) and normally my ping is fine, but due to ping spikes i get auto banned. Is there any servers (US-East) that a least just kick you for having high ping instead of never allowing you to play on the server ever again?

also, is there currently any way to prevent servers i cant play on (banned ) from showing up in the server list?

and lastly are the servers titled "Official" actually owned by the devs or what? (getting ping-banned from those if the are official is going to put a hamper on me actually buying the game. ( i really want to do that)

    Thank you ahead of time

Ping bans are not permanent. Try again in a day or two.
And yes, there are server hosted in America and Brazil, both official and not.
The official server is called 'Official US Server'.

Hi HammBone, welcome to the KAG Forum! :)

There is no current way to filter servers you are banned on - I think the thought behind that being that generally speaking there shouldn't be servers where that's the case. Most ping bans last for about 10 minutes, so don't worry about those - the problem comes when servers decide for (reasons unknown) to ban you longer. This has happened to me once or twice and I'll agree can get quite annoying!

If you find yourself unfairly banned on a server longer than 10-25 minutes, then there are several things you can do:
    1. Post in the 'Help!' subforum (http://kagforum.com/index.php?forums/help/) with an explination of your situation and a list of the servers you're still banned.
    2. Find the threads of the individual servers you're banned on in the 'Server Directory' (http://kagforum.com/index.php?forums/serverlist/) and explain your situation to the admins of said servers.
    3. Jump on the #kag IRC channel (http://kagforum.com/index.php?threads/irc-channel.372/) and ask if an anmin for server "x" in on - if not, normally there's someone who can help you or at least point you in the right direction - particularly make use of any guards hanging around, they're friendly types! ;)
Hope that helps answer some of your problems. :)

Okay, gotta run now - I have a plane to catch! :B):

[NB: There is also an 'Official Server' in Australia ;)]

Ping bans are supposed to be only around 10 minutes. Feel free to try my server (in my sig) its not the default game mode (mine has unlimited respawns), but I made the ping kick a bit more lax.
